Mónica Burguera Foundation
Mónica Burguera Foundation is a not-for-profit organization set to raise awareness of dangers that exist towards boating. The Foundation was created in memory of Mónica Burguera, a 20 year old girl who passed away in a boating accident in the 2006 Columbus Day Weekend Festivities in Miami, Florida. The accident took the lives of Mónica and James Noel Pou and left many others seriously injured. After this fatal accident, Mónica’s family and close friends realized the importance of boat safety education.
Mónica’s family and close friends sought to Websoul to help them spread the message of boating dangers. Websoul successfully accomplished this task by creating a intricate website that allows people to inquire about the foundation and learn how to can show their support to the organization.
